Language Scrapbooking Tip: New Year's Resolutions

Discussions of New Year's resolutions are a great way to start off the new year. Maybe you want to spend more time away from screens, get outside more, or make more frequent KidTalk recordings! Talking with children about setting goals is a great way to model goal setting and learn from them about their goals. By recording your conversation about your resolutions, you'll remember what you talked about. It can be fun to go back in time to remember what was important to you and your family at different times.

Need ideas for talking with children about New Year's Resolutions? Here are some guides from the American Academy of Pediatrics and Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital.
