KidTalk in the Seattle Times

KidTalk scientists were interviewed by the Seattle Times! Prof. Hartshorne talks about what we know about screen time: it's gone up considerably since the start of the pandemic and is tied to child care availability. He also shares what we don't know: the precise effects of screen time on brain development. Other child development experts point out that rather than worrying about screen time, parents can focus on ensuring that children have quality in-person interactions in addition to screen time.

KidTalk supports caregivers in offline language-enriching activities with our Language Scrapbooking Tips and Wordless Picture Books (Libros Illustrados sin Palabras).
